By using this site, registering for a program, or purchasing any product or service from us, you agree to these terms.

2. Who may register

Our clinical programs are built for licensed oral health professionals.

To register for the P3 Certificate Program or any hands-on clinical program, you must be a licensed dental hygienist or a licensed dentist who graduated from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. At registration you will be asked to attest to your credential and provide your license number and the state that issued it.

We may verify any credential you provide. If we determine that a registrant does not meet these requirements, we may cancel the registration and issue a full refund of amounts paid.

3. Registration and payment

Registration is complete when payment is received and you receive a confirmation from us. A seat is not held until payment is complete.

Enrollment in each cohort is limited. Seats are filled in the order registrations are received.

Tuition for the October 16 and 17, 2026 cohort is $899 during the early bird window, which closes September 16, 2026, and $1,299 after that date. Published tuition for 2027 programs is $1,500. Rates are stated in United States dollars.

Payment is processed by Stripe or PayPal. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. See our Privacy Policy.

Registrations may be sold through our website and through the websites of authorized host or partner organizations. All registrations, regardless of where purchased, are governed by these terms.

4. Cancellation and refunds

If you cancel your registration:

  • More than 30 days before the program start date: refund of 100% of tuition paid

  • Between 30 and 15 days before the program start date: refund of 50% of tuition paid

  • Fewer than 15 days before the program start date: no refund

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to info@drjoyrdh.com and are effective on the date we receive them.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your card issuer or bank.

Tuition is not refundable for failure to attend, late arrival, early departure, or failure to meet the assessment standard.

5. Transfers and substitutions

You may transfer your seat to another individual who meets the eligibility requirements in Section 2 by notifying us in writing at least 10 days before the program start date. The substitute registrant must provide credential and license information before the program begins.

You may transfer your registration to a future cohort one time, with written notice at least 30 days before the program start date. Transfers to a future cohort are subject to any difference in tuition between the two cohorts. A transferred registration is not refundable.

6. If we cancel or reschedule

We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or relocate a program. Causes may include insufficient enrollment, faculty illness, venue unavailability, severe weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If we cancel a program, you may choose a full refund of tuition paid or a transfer of your registration to a future cohort.

If we reschedule or relocate a program and the new date or location does not work for you, you may choose a full refund of tuition paid or a transfer to a future cohort.

We are not responsible for travel, lodging, or other costs you incur in connection with a program, whether or not the program is cancelled, rescheduled, or relocated. We recommend booking refundable travel or purchasing travel insurance.

7. What the certificate is, and what it is not

This section matters. Read it carefully.

The P3 Certificate Program is a continuing education program. Participants who meet the stated clinical standard in an assessed discipline receive a certificate of completion in that discipline issued by Dr. Joy, RDH.

A certificate issued by us:

  • Is not a license, and does not authorize you to perform any procedure you are not already licensed to perform in your jurisdiction

  • Is not a specialty credential, board certification, or advanced standing

  • Is not a professional certification issued by an accredited certification body, and does not entitle you to describe yourself as “certified” by any third party

  • Does not expand your scope of practice

  • Does not imply endorsement or acceptance by any state or provincial board of dentistry

You remain solely responsible for practicing within the scope of your license and the laws and rules of your jurisdiction.

Completing the program does not guarantee any particular clinical outcome, employment result, income, or practice result.

8. Continuing education credit

The October 16 and 17, 2026 program is approved for 14 continuing education credits.

Dr. Joy, RDH is designated as an approved Provider by the American Academy of Dental Hygiene, Inc. #AADHDRJ (January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026). Approval does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial Board of Dentistry. Licensee should maintain this document in the event of an audit.

Continuing education approval does not imply acceptance by any state board of dentistry. You are responsible for confirming that credits earned satisfy your own licensing requirements.

Credit is awarded based on attendance and participation as documented at the program.

9. Participation in hands-on clinical instruction

Our clinical programs involve the use of dental instruments, powered instrumentation, air polishing equipment, and other clinical devices in a simulated setting. All hands-on instrumentation is performed on typodonts, manikins, or simulation models. No live patients are involved in any part of the program.

By registering you acknowledge that:

  • You are a licensed professional trained in the safe handling of dental instruments

  • Participation involves the ordinary risks associated with the use of sharp instruments, powered devices, aerosols, and clinical materials on simulation models

  • You will follow all safety instructions given by faculty and by the host facility

  • You will use personal protective equipment as directed

  • You are responsible for disclosing to us in advance any condition that may affect your safe participation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume the risks described above and release us from liability for injury or loss arising from your participation, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

10. Conduct

We expect professional conduct at all programs. We may remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, harassing, or disrespectful to faculty, staff, other participants, or facility personnel. No refund is issued to a participant removed for conduct.

11. Photography, video, and media

We photograph and record our programs for educational, archival, and promotional purposes.

By attending, you consent to being photographed and recorded, and you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your name, image, voice, and likeness in materials promoting our programs and services, including on our website, in email, on social media, and in materials shared with program sponsors and partners.

If you do not wish to appear in promotional materials, notify us in writing at info@drjoyrdh.com before the program begins and identify yourself to staff at check-in. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request. We cannot guarantee exclusion from wide shots of the room.

12. Sponsors and partners

Our programs are supported by manufacturers and partner organizations who provide instruments, materials, equipment, and funding.

Registrant contact information is shared with the manufacturers and partners supporting the program you attend. See our Privacy Policy for details on what is shared and how to opt out.

Products used in a program are selected for educational purposes. Use of a product in instruction is not a guarantee, warranty, or endorsement of that product for any particular patient or clinical situation.

13. Course materials and intellectual property

All program materials, including handouts, protocols, assessment criteria, presentations, recordings, the P3 Hygiene Growth System, and the content of this website, are our property or are used under license, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may use materials provided to you for your own clinical practice and professional development. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, teach from, or create derivative works from our materials without our prior written permission.

Recording of any program session by participants is not permitted without our prior written consent.

14. Website use

You may not use this site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, or interfere with its operation.

Content on this site is provided for general educational purposes. It is not clinical advice for any specific patient and is not a substitute for your own professional judgment.

15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Our programs, products, and website are provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your registration, participation, or use of this site will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the program or product giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunity.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, regardless of where a program is held or where a registration is purchased.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version posted on this page at the time of your registration governs that registration. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
