IADE CENTER, COLTS NECK, NEW JERSEY

When

OCTOBER 16 AND 17, 2026

Refinement for the clinician.
Confidence for the practice that invests in her.

You may be the hygienist buying your own seat, or the dentist or practice leader seating your hygiene team. The room is the same.

IF YOU ARE THE HYGIENIST

You already work at a high level. You come to refine skill, master craft, and invest in the standard you hold at the chair.
Three certificates earned by assessment. Not by attendance.

IF YOU LEAD THE PRACTICE

Hygiene sits at the center of patient care. You invest in skill, consistent protocols, and a certificate earned against a stated standard. Your hygienist returns with refined technique and a clear clinical bar.

One System. Patient, provider, and practice protected together.

Every stakeholder protected. No interest sacrificed.

CURRICULUM

The three certificates

These certificates are how the P3 Hygiene Growth System teaches and assesses its clinical standard. Each is taught, practiced with coaching, then assessed chairside in a later block. You earn the certificate by meeting the stated standard. Attendance alone does not confer it.

HAND INSTRUMENTATION

We review instrument design and function, advanced strokes and fulcrums, and hybrid designs. We help you build the ideal kit for your own hand. You’re assessed on grasp, stroke, and fulcrum control against a set standard.

ULTRASONICS

You operate both piezoelectric and magnetostrictive technology and practice technique under direct coaching. You’re evaluated on insert selection, adaptation, and power control, with specific feedback on what to refine.

AIR POLISHING

You learn technique for supragingival and subgingival applications, stroke dynamics, powder selection, and HVE use. You practice under coaching, then are assessed in a working operatory against the stated standard.

Monday morning, these skills are in your own operatory.

THE ENVIRONMENT

Why this room

is different

15 seats. Five operatories for chairside assessment. Real chairs. Real working angles. Two assessors.

No skill is assessed in the same block where it was taught. Assessment happens later. What is measured is retained skill, not coached repetition.

Hand instrumentation carries 4.5 hours. More than double any other clinical block.

This is the clinical standard of the P3 Hygiene Growth System, taught and assessed in person. Protocols. Performance. Profitability. Three operating disciplines that protect patient, provider, and practice at once. Interlocking rings. Never arrows.

My system makes them move together instead of against each other.

TESTIMONIALS

From the P3 workshop floor

MJ Fox

I LOVE WHAT YOU ARE DOING FOR THE PROFESSION!!!
Your entire course is top-tier and worth every penny!!

Jennifer Frost

I truly enjoyed P3, Dr. Joy! I am grateful that I found the event—you provided a unique opportunity to get additional hands-on training that isn’t always offered with an instrumentation CE. I think the content of the program was great, and everything was touched upon. Thanks so much! I look forward to taking another course of yours soon.

Hailey Marie Ebue

I really liked all of the information and passion that both Dr. Joy and Dr. Bill brought to P3. You could absolutely tell that they both research everything in depth and love sharing the information that they know. I also liked the scheduling of the event. Having stations in between presenting material really helped break up the day. Lastly, I also really appreciated that so many instruments/materials were brought for us to try. As a COVID graduate, I feel as though I missed out on opportunities to try new tools right out of school, so this was a great opportunity to do so…

HME

I absolutely LOVE that the trainers were approachable, knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to explain or share their experiences/knowledge. We’re never too seasoned to learn a new technique or obtain knowledge to improve our skill set.

Amanda Hill

This is a conference like no other. When it comes to elevating the care of Dental hygienists THIS IS IT! The educators were top-notch with cutting edge topics in all aspects of the process of care. The hands-on component was like no other. Advanced instrumentation, placement of glass ionomer, and advances in caries management take patient care to the next level. This is what hygiene continuing education has been missing.
